Ingredients
- 2 dl milk (this recipe also works with plant-based milk)
- 1 tsp gingerbread spice mix
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2–3 Vanajan gingerbread cookies
- Honey for sweetness (add only after the hot chocolate has cooled slightly)
- Whipped cream and crushed gingerbread cookies for garnish

Instructions
- Crush the gingerbread cookies into fine crumbs.
- Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the cocoa powder and gingerbread spice mix, and stir until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the hot chocolate into a mug and mix in some of the gingerbread crumbs.
- If desired, sweeten with honey once the hot chocolate has cooled slightly.
- Garnish with whipped cream and sprinkle with more gingerbread crumbs.
- Enjoy warm!
